Post operative recovery

I had laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst and a fibroid. It is now the third week and the dissolvable stitches don't look any closer to falling out. The area around the stitches is slightly red and swollen. Is this normal? 🤔

Hi I’m similar and wounds are healing but still have dried blood and can see the end of the stitches. From previous operations I would say this is normal. I have been putting on moisturiser like e45, non perfumed as this seems to reduce the itch. I think it will be swollen and tender for a while x
