Hi guys! Just a quick question for those of you who’ve had your laparoscopies done. How long after your surgery did you start applying cream / BioOil to the scars? I just want to make sure I don’t start applying it too soon as don’t want it to cause infection etc. Thank you! X

Hi I started about a month after and used cocoa butter (Palmers) and my scars have faded a lot. Hardly see them now 3 years later 😀

I didn't apply anything and they had completelyfaded after a year. The scars are so tiny you won't see them at all in quite a short time.

Gosh it’s all the inside scars …..I think have caused me a lot of pain . Scar tissue inside me. I know that doesn’t help . Mine was done they belly button and two holes so small on both sides of stomach …..can’t see any outside scaring at all.🌹

Thank you. Sorry to hear that - hope with time that it gets better for you. Sounds similar to mine - one in belly button, three others. Really hope there’s not too much internal scarring, but early days still
