How long does bleeding last after endometrial ablation?

So it's now been 4 days since my albation and I've been getting this watery discharge with tiny bit of blood/ brown stuff but I'm getting really irritatable with wearing pads I'm just wondering if anyone who has had the albation can tell me how long on average their bleed for or had this discharge stuff for please ...... ano everyone is completely different but I really would like to know thanks

Hi LoneWolf91, I had an ablation about 15 months ago and it took about 2 weeks for the discharge to go. However since then my period has been super light (compared to pre-ablation).

Hopefully you have the same.

I still am having horrible pain though so am having a lap soon (was supposed to be before the end of February but Covid has delayed everything!

Hi the watery bleeding is still happening it's been 10 days since the operation so ... it says online the watery bloody discharge can last between 3 to 6 weeks but I hope it doesn't for me! Also ano it's TMI but each time I go toilet for no.2 more water blood come out and this is when the bleeding wasn't there I got no idea what's happening but I'm hoping it goes away soon otherwise I might have to see me doctor about it ...

It can take up to 3 months before it totally goes away. Remember that your body has gone through a very traumatic thing and needs to recover. Your hormones will still be working as normal, so your body has to adapt to this new environment.
