Reoccurrence of endo post surgery

I’ve just joined this forum as support seems lacking elsewhere! I had my laparoscopy in October where I had adhesions, cysts and endometriosis. I was told by the consultant /surgeon that she got everything and it may take years to return if ever. I left feeling full of hope, and those first poops the week after were a dream haha! (No nausea or pain!)

The first two periods were very mild and I was so grateful but by the third one came the pain was about 80% as before and fourth one back to near 95% before. Already pain and nausea during period, during poops, random spotting and I can feel adhesions growing and tearing inside me. Im absolutely heartbroken because I thought I had more time, and all info online seems to suggest 70% of women don’t get reoccurrence for years and it may only happen sooner if not all of it was removed. Has anyone else had this experience, and what was your next steps?

It can depend how it was removed. Was it ablation - burnt off? That tends to return quicker than if it is excised - cut out. You need to be with a Gynae who has special interest in endo. I unfortunately had no relief in fact pain for worse straight after surgery as mine was done by a general Gynae without the required training.
