Hi, so i had my implant removed in October and took my first period in November it was heavy for first 2 days and painful but i waa fine after that and it lasted 7 days before ending. I took my second period last week and i have been in agony from start to finish and even though my period has now ended i am still in agony with lower stomach pains the period was heavy for roughly 5 days this time around and i have been putting it down to my body adjusting to having the implant removed and being completely normal and to be expected but as i am still in pain after my period now i got a bit worried and of course googled this (worst thing i could have done i know but i couldn't help myself) and it has of course been telling me all sorts including worst case scenarios. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
Thanks
Shannon

Hi, my periods have always been heavy and painful, going through clothing and marking the bed in the evening. I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 22 and had surgery and am now on tablets to stop my periods all together but I went through the pains of periods and unfortunately it is just a normal symptom of endometriosis and most people who have endometriosis have the stomach pains after the periods as well, mine is usually b4 my periods so my body is preparing for the pains of my periods.
