Hi there, I had my laparoscopy November so three months ago now. I’ve been fine until the weekend just gone. I was up all night in absolute agony only painkiller to help was codeine. I thought the laparoscopy was meant to stop these pains for a while?

Hi Stacey_endo, So sorry to hear about your returning pains. If you're not feeling right, please go get checked out. Unfortunately, cysts/endo can grow back quickly for some people. After my first lap to remove endo, tubes, part of ovary, I was great for the first 3 months, then some pains returned and at 5 months post op, I was in so much pain- throwing up on the bathroom floor, unable to walk, going to emergency pain. They did an ultrasound that showed a 5mm endometrioma had grown back already. Super bad luck for me but the dr did say that some people are just prone to grow cysts quickly. Go see a dr, try to get an ultrasound so that they can see what might be going on and you can figure out your options from there. Feel free to message me with any specific questions. I hope you figure it out and feel better soon. xx
