Mini Pill vs Hormonal Coil

When will the mini pull become affective.

I’ve been on the mini pill for about 3 1/2 months after being discharged from hospital and I’m bleeding everyday. I’ve been passing large clumps of tissue and clots the size of my hand.

The pain is still there and I’m constantly exhausted as I’ve been bleeding straight.

Getting coil out in in the end of January did this help more instead?

Hi Mia,

It sounds like you’re having quite a time of it, sorry to hear this. The treatments for endo, including hormone treatments like the pill and coil work differently for each individual. I have included information from Endo UK on treatments which you might find useful. Have you spoken to your GP / Gynae to see if there is anything they can do to help? I hope it settles down for you soon, I appreciate how painful and exhausting the heavy bleeding is.
