We’ve been trying to conceive now for 3 months my cycles have been regular over the last 3 months every 25-28 days. I am now on day 33 of my cycle and still no period but also multiple negative pregnancy tests? Can anyone offer any advice??
A little bit of background - I have stage 4 endo and adenomyosis. Most of the endo and one of my ovaries was removed in April. I then had 3 months of prostap injections and my periods started again in September. As I have said my period have been regular for the last 3 months and we was given the go ahead to start trying. (The sooner the better)
Fast forward to December and I am now 5 days late but still getting negative pregnancy test results

Hi! Sorry your having these problems. I had complete excision surgery in July for stage 4 endo and have since had similar difficulties. Before excision surgery I had 2 miscarriages and my cycle was about 29-30 days.
For 3 of my cycles after excision were around 26-27 days but for the last 2 it has gone up to 32 days. For my last cycle I used ovulation sticks and I ovulated in the 32 day cycle and all seemed ok so I think my cycle may now be 32 days long and perhaps the other months were my body getting used to it.
Sorry I’m not a professional but saw your post and thought I’d leave a comment as I know how heart breaking it is when you see that negative. I thought I’d conceived when my cycle was so long the first time. I hope you get your baby soon and sending you baby dust x
It sounds like you have been through a lot with both endometriosis and adenomyosis, sorry to hear this. Regarding fertility and pregnancy, I have added a link below from Endo UK which I hope you find helpful. Is it worth talking with your GP to see if they can offer any further insight into your late period? We are here if you need any support. Take care.
Hi Beth Alex, Just posting to show some solidarity. I was diagnosed with endo in September via laparoscopy - had nodules excised from my uterosacral ligaments, and my ovaries diathermied to regulate ovulation. My husband and I have been trying for a baby since before the pandemic (and well, the pandemic happened and that's a whole other tale of stress in terms of access to services). I had my first epically long cycle (over 40 days) in 2019. I felt loads of tugging and pulling and I thought maybe I was pregnant but tests said not. It was probably my then undiagnosed endo...
Fast forward to now and I'm 3 months post surgery having been trying so hard to conceive again, on day 33 of my cycle and negative pregnancy tests. My last 2 cycles were 28 and 27 days so I was hopeful the surgery had done something but now I'm less convinced.
Anyway, it's an emotional drain, I know. I just wanted to say hang in there. My gynae has me on a list to contact for IVF in the next 3 months if things don't happen naturally. So there may be other options available to you if you can chat with your GP x
Thanks for replying! Sorry that your in the same boat though! It’s just soo frustrating but more frustrating the not knowing!
My Gp is useless and simply says your not late enough for us to do anything just keep waiting. I am going to ring my endometriosis nurse tomorrow though to see what she suggests.
I am now on day 36 of my cycle and it just seems very strange.
Fingers crossed you manage to get some answers soon! Thank you so much for reaching out though it really does help having people to speak to!
