10 wk post op worry

I had my lap 10 wks ago and I had my 1st period which was more painful than normal and on time, my 2nd period I had no pain and was on Time, but 2 weeks after I am on my period again and it's very heavy with average cramping I'm just wondering if this is normal as I'm worried about it being 2 wks apart I'm usually 28 days apart also I ha e my period for 5 days but this is the 6th day and still heavy I e had to change pants the past 2 days as I've came through its so embarrassing but this is not normal for me. Anyone else have any issues this late after laparoscopy??

Hi this also happened to me and I called up my consultant to book n urgent review and had. X-ray which he told me that it was normal after the procedure and it will take time I was also told that there was a small cyst and which should of be removed but he didn’t remove and I thought I was going in to get that removed but instead he said he had burned the lining of the wall or something to stop my pelvic pain and if I want the cyst removed then should have the womb removed so I said no and will see how my period pain is before I start period but 3 months now the pin is less as I take pain killers before period starts intake mefamicin tabs I think that’s how you spell it they help with the flow of the period and the pin they work wonders I am going to go back to him next month for more answers I did ask not to remove me from his lit as I would like a follow up father than go on waiting list again and he was fine x

Thank you this helps I am going to ask for blood flow meds as I suffer from chronic anemia and this is not helping also some sort of hormone replacement as I'm not on anything atm as I dnt have sex lol but I do know I need something if by any chance I decided to go back to dating, I have had cysts in the past and I was told I had a fibroid but it wasn't removed so maybe this could be the cause
