I’m just writing this to see if anyone has had anything similar. I have stage 4 endometriosis and recently had an MRI in preparation for my 3rd surgery as my pain as returned.
I now have a trapped nerve in my lower back (not sciatica according to my GP) has anyone had anything similar? Pain is only relieved lying flat on my back, pain goes down both legs, it’s unbearable at times. Worst on my left where majority of my endo was found.
Just wondering if it could be related to my endometriosis or completely unrelated, although I have done no obvious injury to my back.
Thanks all xx

For the past 3 weeks I’ve had something wrong with my left leg and lower back, it feels either nerve related or muscular. I thought it was Sciatica. I’ve had this pain before and I believe it’s related to my Endo due to the time it starts, it’s never lasted this long before.
My GP wasn’t convinced when I spoke to her before, but I’m due to see an Osteopath later today, I’m hoping for some answers and that she can help. If you can, maybe consider doing the same, I know it’s agony.
Hi! I’ve been diagnosed with endo and operated on in May and now got a big issue with my spine all over: can’t move at all without pain. It’s different from what you describe as it doesn’t radiate into my legs. I went to see an osteopath yesterday and so far he thinking’s it’s not nerve or disk but a fascia. He says I’m diaphragm is also restricted and there are issues with my spine in different places, so the current issue is almost secondary. I told him about endo and he couldn’t (maybe yet) tell for sure but I’m thinking: with all the constant pain end tensing surely muscles overcompensate for pain elsewhere and over longer term it can lead to other muscular issues? The osteopath did not disagree…
