Does anyone else get lots of wind? And really necrotic smelling? I am fìnding myself having to excuse myself from class during teaching to do it in the hallway.

My students can cope with the hot water bottles, the yelps of pain, the frequent toilet escapes, but this is something else!

Umm, yes afraid so! Can happen any time when my bowel is a bit distressed, but mostly during and in the week after a period. Luckily, it’s also mostly when I lay down in bed at night and we’ve learnt to laugh at these evil stenches (period pumps!!). Awful when you get a bout of wind at work or out & about though, I find it can be very uncomfortable and embarrassingly loud & gurgly even before they come out. Started carrying perfume/bodyspray to help disguise any public trumps. Also made sure there was air freshener in the work loos. Have found that probiotics and mint tea help, also making sure I don’t get constipated etc. Not always easy to eat & drink well if you have a very busy life! Take care of yourself xxxx
