Pain whilst having a miscarriage. Bowels the worst. 😔 TMI

Hi lovelies.

Some of you will know iv just lost my baby it stopped growing at 6 weeks was confirmed at 8 weeks was growing real slow and I had 3 scans then last Monday was confirmed stopped growing no heart beat. I took medical management on Friday it's been awful. Iv passed all I'm supposed to pass I believe. The crazy pain from the meds has gone.

My bowels are something else I'm going from one extreme to the other and either way my heads spinning I feel sick I'm sweating and the pain is out of this, world my womb my rectum and my back are on fire. My intestines feel like they're shaking and I'm sweating immensely when I'm on the loo. Blood and lots.

My rectum feels like its too tight and even when I'm not on the loo it feels like something is stuck there like a poker it's really uncomfortable and making me feel sick.

Is this endo coming back with a vengeance or what. I'm so dreading the pain I hate going to the loo the before situation is painful enough the worst is on the loo the after affect is really uncomfortable. What shall I do I don't know there's no point taking laxative because one trip could, be solid next trip could, be water. Either way it's intense pain and feeling ill. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm sick of this is getting me down. Sorry for the moan and the long post.

I’m so sorry you’re suffering on top of your miscarriage.

I don’t have the answers for that but I also am suffering badly with my bowels- and I’m wondering the same thing.

I am getting no where fast with the medics- my fertility consultant is only interested with the gynae side of things and has ignored the bowel side unless he thinks it’s all connected?

I think you should see a medic over this just to get it checked over. I am also going back to a gp on Tuesday tho my lot seem a bit disinterested in it as I’m under a fertility consultant - why that makes a difference I do not know.

It dose not seem right and you shouldn’t have to put up with it.

It's just horrific isn't it. I'm struggling to see what they'll do iv had bowel issues since a young girl and nothing ever been done apart from laxatives. Seen I been diagnosed with endo when iv been in pain round my bowels a n e send me away saying I'm not ill just in pain although they did send me for a, sigmoidoscopy which revealead nothing except the pain I was in indicated endo could be sat in top of large bowel.

If I go see my gp what will they do. They never or can't do anything. I'm just sick if it. I know I need to get back on tracks of seeing specialist. It's so draining this whole process one thing happens get pregnant and the pain stops but worry starts then the thing you was worrying about so much happens and pain all over again but much worse and you can't even think straight. I feel as though I'm being pulled from one end to another.

I'm so sorry your getting no where with your bowel issues too it's such a mess this whole system why don't they treat us accordingly to our symptoms. Or is it just because we're ttc that's their main pathway of treatment so to speak.

I don't know buy I wish I had the answer instead if dreading to go to the loo.

I am so, so sorry If things are really bad, then I would either go to the GP or go to A&E and get yourself checked over. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks (although I refused medical management and waited for it to pass on it's own) and it was unbelievably painful, something which no-one had warned me about, and I felt quite ill for a few weeks afterwards. But if it helps, I got pregnant again straight away (didn't wait for another period, just got on with it) and my son was born at home on his due date. Please keep asking questions and keep talking - women who miscarry are not given nearly enough information and are treated really crappily by the medical profession IMO.

Iv been told to not get pregnant as they want to run tests after iv had a period iv had 6 losses in total now so need to get to bottom of why it keeps happening. Natural ones have no where near been this bad though.

AnE won't help when I felt this bad before and went I was there for hours on morphine they sent me to surgical assessment who said I'm not ill I'm just in pain and they can't do anything they did send me for sigmoidoscopy which revealed nothing and said the pain indicated that I could have endo sitting on large bowel. GPS just dismiss and say it's probably endo. It's just a headache I need to get back on the specialist hunt and make an appointment the one I was going to see I don't want to any more so I'll find another.

I feel like you should see the dr. I had a bad miscarriage but it didn’t affect my bowels as badly as that. You might just be unlucky and have picked up a sickness bug to top everything off, but I honestly think you should get checked over as it could be some kind of infection x

I'll go tomorrow if it doesn't settle down. I'm ok when I'm not on the loo except that feeling in my rectum. Then through the night I get really ill if it happens tonight I'll book me in. Iv just lost faith in them and don't want to bare the cold if they're going to leave me in this situation.

I'm feeling a lot better than God.

Just pain when I open my bowels and a headache but I'm much better than what I was. The worst is over with thankfully I appreciate your message and hope your ok too 💗💗🤗😘😘

Aww take care and just ready for the Christmas, yes the worst is over and prepare for the best.. I had my fertility scan yesterday and I was told everything was OK. My only concern was my TSH which was 3.96 around 4 weeks ago and I have my next blood test on next Monday. Need to wait for the result . I just wanted to get pregnant before my birthday it's May27 that's my only wish. Hope god listens to me.. I seriously don't like my birthday as am ageing and cant have a baby. But I hope something will happen sooner to me.. you take care and dont stress yourself..

Get your tsh down to less than 2 and you'll be fine.

I don't do Christmas but my bday is 2nd of Jan so spa hotel in order for that I need a big treat.

I hope you get your wish hun I'm sure you will keep positive, good to hear your scan went well. That's a positive. Keep trying you'll get there.
