SOS! After Laparoscopic endometriosis excision - HAIR are falling out!!!
Hello, I am so sorry to hear that your hair has been falling out post-surgery. Dealing with excision surgery is already a lot to deal with, without losing your hair on top of it all! I would be really upset too.
Surgeries affect every body differently, and our bodies can react in weird and wonderful ways. I'd suggest speaking with your GP or a nurse at your surgery if the hair loss continues, and they will hopefully be able to provide some medical advice.
In the meantime, keep taking care of yourself - your body is still recovering 😊
You can't stop it it's from stress on the body you need to try reduce the stress for it to grow back in
It's true that stress can cause hair loss. However, it is worth remembering that there are other causes of hair loss that can only be identified by a health professional 😊
Hey Mince_LV
So sorry! Absolutely the last thing you want after surgery.
I agree with claudia_91 that it’s always smart to rule out medical reasons first and contact your GP
It may also be worth taking vitamin supplements, ensuring you are getting enough nutrients and protein in your diet and you could try to use something like that Headspace app to help with any resulting anxiety.
Really hope you see improvement soon! I’m sure you’ll see that hair returning before you know it.
Hi I always have hair loss after surgery, I always thought it was due to the anaesthetic, it always looks like more than it is and it will stop x
Also always had hair loss after a general anaesthetic. My hairdresser once told me this is very common. As said before, it will stop. Try boosting your antioxidant intake of vitamin c and glutathione immediately after having a general anaesthetic to help your body process and remove it quickly x
