In the past I've had ct scans and mri scans but nothing came up

I’m not sure if it’s endo specifically but I do think it’s hormone related I used to have a lot in my twenties when I was on the pill and my doctor recently told me menopause can bring on headaches/migraines so I’m currently waiting on blood test results. (and a scan just to be sure it’s nothing else). It’s to do with fluctuating hormone levels.

Hiya! There’s quite a high correlative relationship between endo and migraines, though not know if the two are linked; it’s theorised it might be hormones that link the two. I get really bad migraines, which just knock me out for days at a time, it’s horrible.

Hi,

I had endo and migraines. Endo is no longer an issue as I’m menopausal. Migraines come and go, I have many triggers, including strong smells, alcohol any including handgels and mouthwash, chocolate and numerous foods just for a few. I also can’t sleep with a phone or tablet near by, I can’t put my estrogen patch on at night or otherwise I have a migraine the morning after. Have you noticed any thing similar?

I take magnesium supplements to help, a deficiency can cause the migraine. I take pain killers as soon as I can as well. Coca-Cola I find helps too. I also use menthol gels on the skin, I find it defuses the pain somewhat. Anything that helps. I thought I’d stopped having them but I was told to stop using my patches for a while and the migraines came back with a vengeance.

Have a think about your triggers there may be a pattern, if so you might be able to avoid them?

My headaches are horrible and really have a link to my hormones - I was taking the pill for a few years and I had to take it continuously, as soon as I missed a pill my head would start to ache. Taking the pill continuously kept my headaches at bay, it was great! I had to come off the pill nearly two years ago and my headaches have been horrific, I felt like I was going insane, constantly felt sick, pain in my head, pressure behind my ears. The doctor put me on the Progesterone only pill - it helped a bit for a few months, but the pain in my head has returned. I have just decided to start the combined pill again today as I can't go on living with the constant headaches.. Just praying I get some sort of relief again.
