Hysteroscopy

Hey everyone,

Has anyone been on decapeptyl injections and had a hysteroscopy done awake?

had 2 injections now got my last next month but having hysteroscopy next week. Just wondered if any one has or is going down the same path..

What are these injections as I’ve not heard of them. I’ve been on zoladex which puts you through menopause.

I’ve had three hysteroscopies. The first was quite uncomfortable. Awake when done. The second last year was horrific. So painful that they could t proceed. I had to have a general in the end the following month.

Hi Beckykbo, thanks for getting back to me, I believe they are the same injections as the zoladex as it puts you into menopause too.

Yeah i think I would rather be asleep as I’m a right wuss! Going to have to give it a go! Just want it all over and done with now! Have you gone to have a lap aswell? X
