Ever had a flare up after eating a hamburger?

Hi - a silly question here - have you ever had a flare up after eating a hamburger?

I've seen posts where ladies with Endo said that red meat and fatty foods made them feel worse.

I felt terrible after having a hamburger last time. My digestive system was so angry with me, that I almost would have suspected food poisoning, but it was different (and my husband was fine after the same meal). I could feel the "endometriosis burning" sensation in the pelvis that I would get around periods.

So... Are hamburgers banned for some of you?

I really like hamburgers, so I admit I'm going to try one more time. This will be in the name of science, to discover if the results are repeatable. I'm such a risk taker.

I’ve never personally had a hamburger but I think because it’s a red meat, that’s what’s caused the flare up. When I read up on endo and diet, red meat is one to avoid. Written in pretty much every article I read, they all say the same thing

I would recommend you trying it once more just to be certain, hope it doesn’t happen again..... fingers crossed!

Red meat at one point was awful to me, lamb being the worst, I don’t know how but overtime it’s improved but at one point it was an absolute no go😣

Hi, I am literally in horrible pain this morning from having a hamburger last night. My specialist says that it’s my interstitial cystitis that’s causing me pain after eating and not my endometriosis. I have never been able to control my IC cos the meds they said to try sets off my IBS so I can’t figure out which it is.

I have found trial and error with all my foods is the way to avoid the pain.

Hope you find a resolution to yours!

I had a double cheeseburger from McDonald's at the weekend and the pain in my pelvis is still horrific! I'm thinking I have caused the pain to still be there by the food I've eaten, because I finished ovulation week on Saturday so I should be calming down now. Funny how something as needed as food causes us all this pain! Xxx
