Finishing Prostap - What to Expect? Eek!

Hi all!

I’m finishing Prostap after a year of the injections as it isn’t working for me any longer. In fact, for the first time in 15 years I am going totally hormone free to see what happens 👀!

From those that have been there - what should I expect?

Obviously I know my bleeding and pain will likely go crazy but is there anything else? Could be coincidental but I’ve felt really strange and spaced out / hungover the last 24 hours (with no booze consumption to even make it fun!) and I don’t know if that’s part of it!

Thanks :)

I can tell you about stopping Zolodex injections. Feel horrid brain fog, hungover, and bled for 2 weeks straight. Then back on it and HRT to back fill as waiting for hysterectomy.

Also about having my Mirena out several days ago.

Currently feel like I am dying and my ovaries seem to be tingling and my groin aching and got leg pain and I am bleeding very heavily and can hardly walk. Laid up in bed. Feel sick and off my food.

Sorry this isn’t pretty ☹️😢

Thank you for letting me know - I couldn’t think of why I’d be feeling like this and then remembered Prostap wearing off.

It really is a brain fog, I feel horrendous and can’t eat either. I’m trying to stay logged on and work but I don’t feel like I am making much sense today!

Sorry to hear you are so awful too, hope it all’s settles down and you don’t have to wait too long for your op 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thank you and hope you feel okay soon. It’s a rollercoaster 🎢 and I just drank a juice for inflammation and it’s gross 🤢 Also tried my first ever homemade turmeric latte with cinnamon and agave syrup.....very unsure 😐 but I need the turmeric and the cinnamon in my body.

Pukka teas are lush though 💖

I think I’ll have a little well being splurge later on some teas, vitamins etc and see if I can perk myself up at bit!

My Dad really raves about tumeric, I ought to start using it too really 🙌

Hey, how are you feeling? Has your brain fog and feeling rubbish passed yet? Mine seems to have gotten worse again!

Oh no, so sorry!! I have stopped bleeding and am so exhausted. Had bloods done to check I amnot anaemic. Bit brain foggy, not got much patience and an early night each night to recover x Really trying to not worry but waiting on benefits decision and amount....worrying about how to budget so little. Working at not worrying!

Life Coach is pleased with my progress and I kicked ass at stuff in my group therapy! Doing lots of good things well.

Resting all day tomorrow X
