Morning ladies

Starting my course of nafarelin/Synarel and Tibolone today, very anxious and apprehensive about potential side effects. Didn’t sleep last night! Don’t know why I’m posting really, but will update periodically about how it’s going.

Hi Lizlemo, how did you get on? I've just started myself, and curious to hear others' experiences! x

Hello! So far it’s actually quite uneventful really. The tiboline HRT did cause me to bleed lightly for the first three months, which was inconvenient but not painful. My consultant then said stop the HRT which has stopped the bleeding. I’ve not had another period since then. I am tired (aren’t we all these days, though) and I do sometimes get very hot at night which could be hot flushes or night sweats but they’re not too bad at all. I’ve not gained weight but have been watching what I eat. Not really noticed anything else! The whole purpose of it was to stop my periods to see if it stopped my bladder symptoms (I always feel like I need a wee) but so far they seem to be the same or even slightly worse if I’m honest, so I’m hoping after another month it will improve.

Good luck with your treatment
