Does anyone have any experiences taking Synarel and Utovlan together. I've been on Synarel a month(along with Livial) but am still having periods. My wedding is in 3 weeks so my consultant has advised I can take Utovlan a week before to stop the bleeding on the day.
I'm just a tad worried about side effects so keen to hear from anyone who has taken the same combination!
Thanks all! x

I don’t have any advice to offer but I have been prescribed synarel and am really nervous about using it because of side effects. How have you found it?
Hey lovely, do not worry! I had zero side effects! I was trying to lose weight for my wedding, and lost loads even on it. It was amazing for my pain too - best thing I ever did! I took HRT too (livial). Of course, everyone reacts differently but the beauty is you can just stop taking it straight away if it doesn’t work for you! I’ve now been switched to the prostap monthly injections (just because it’s easier to manage long term) and if I don’t like it i have to wait 4 weeks for it to wear off! So far so good though 😊 do shout if you have any more questions!
Hi, I hope you don’t mind me messaging you again lol but it’s like your the only other person on here that has used synarel.
So I started synarel 4 weeks ago now and have had all my usual signs that a period is coming but no period arrived, I’m only 2 days late and I know hopefully my periods will stop but wasn’t expecting it to happen in the first month. I’m not on HRT yet either.
Did you have a period the first month you were on it? X
My period stopped really quickly (I’m pretty sure in the first month) - I had a tiny bit of bleeding a couple of months I but I think it was just when I forgot the odd day! X
