So I’m not well! I’m well into the 6st category again! I’m massively dehydrated! I don’t feel particularly well! Can’t go GP. Thinking of contacting my consultant! Prob wouldn’t be interested either! I have some backup antibiotics so thinking of starting them tomorrow!
It’s disgusting the NHS can leave people, who are unable to function!
My once healthy veins are now thread veins! Ugh! Been spotting all week which is making me feel worse!

I don’t think that will be possible atm, it’s hard enough with the pandemic to see a dr! You can’t get into a surgery you’re registered at, I’m not sure I’ll be able to get into one I ain’t!
I’ll battle on, but if push comes to shove I’ll have to utilise A & E or 111! But jeez, I really don’t feel well! Xx
I’m sure you can see your GP if you don’t have Covid symptoms??? They should see you in person if it’s necessary but if they can’t see you in person they should still do a video or phone appointment. Primary care is still operating.
I was using econsult, but they moaned as I was ‘using it too much’ when all I ever got back was ‘thank you for your econsult’, so I kept econsulting them as they was doing nothing!
Prior to that, I was blank refused antibiotics and told to go to my consultant or A & E, so went to my consultant, who blank refused me antibiotics too, so I went to GAU, who scanned me there, gave me antibiotics, and put through to MDT! So at this point, I’m pretty fed up with my gp surgery! They do nothing! So I’ve stuck middle finger up at them! They’re now telling me I just have anxiety and to go away!......... 🤣! No doubt I do, with them as my primary healthcare 🤣 xx
Moon_maiden do you think it's worth Heloo85 reporting her GP to the CQC?
Also, if you haven't already, worth trying a good acupuncturist/Chinese medicine specialist. I have severe endometriosis and she's changed my life. I've gone from 10/10 daily pain to very low pain. Bleeding like a tap during my periods to light periods. Rectal bleeding which happened every period for 3 years has stopped. Night sweats every night to only happening every so often. Nausea daily to no Nausea. The list goes on...
You should definitely be able to see your GP. They may offer you an online appointment as a first port of call, which makes sense in some ways, but if you would rather be seen in person, then ask for this. I would explain your weight and say you're really not feeling well and are really needing help. If you get no joy then definitely call 111 and ask for advice. I would be shocked if your GP doesn't help you though. Their bedside manner can often have a lot to be desired, but they are paid well to do their job. Could you ask for a referral to see a dietician/nutritionist as well? Another route would be to seek out a private nutritionist. Some of them are into some weird stuff, so it's worth doing a bit of homework, but if you can see a normal nutritionist they might be able to help. I'm not sure if that's what you feel you need, but just adding some suggestions that I hope will be of some help to you. I do hope you get some support and help very soon and that you start to feel better too!! X
I don’t feel my infection has been cleared! That’s the problem! On top of that, have been told, if I still have an infection, I will end up with a colostomy bag, when they operate to remove my ovary from my bowel!
Long story short, my health started to seriously nose dive 8 months ago! I was losing weight, had rashes, menopausal symptoms, and that continued until I was hospitalised with sepsis! So did the whole antibiotic, then more, then no we ain’t giving you more! Must think I’m an antibiotic junky!
So my left ovary, which was abscessed is stuck to my bowel with what they think is an endometrioma!.. So for the last month or so, I have been the size of a house! Permanently looked 6 months pregnant, with gps saying it’s just my bowel being slow..... So then my period arrived and my ovary felt like it was going to explode? So now I’ve been bleeding for 8 days, my bowel is making very funny sounds, and I’m pretty sure this ovary has grown! Is it infected? Who knows, but Drs are saying no? Ok, if it’s not, why did I have so much pain in this ovary when my period started! It stung, like an infection would.
So I’m dropping weight, I am sweating at night, I now smell, and my urine output is reduced! Just like I did before I walked into A & E with sepsis!
I can’t turn anywhere, because I don’t feel unwell enough at this time to walk into A & E, and my gp ain’t interested! But I’m getting there! My chronic dehydration is now causing the big headaches! 1 more day and I’m sure I’ll be throwing a fever! So it’s a matter of waiting and seeing! Xx
Sorry all this is happening to you. Please don’t wait and see go to A&E and you can still see a doctor at the urgent care section if they feel you not emergency. It takes just a second for something terrible to happen and then might be too late.
I have a backup course of antibiotics! Believe it or not, it’s the judging ‘do I have an infection’ that I’m struggling with! And because I can’t see my gp, I can’t get professional advice! All I can watch is basic vital signs like pulse, size of ovary, how much I smell and guess, yey or ney!Last time I had pain, I’m like ‘ok I have an infection’, then pain eased and I felt fine and then I was like ‘no I don’t’, then I was fine for about a week, then slowly deteriorated, become more nauseous, lost more weight, the fevers didn’t start until a day before I was hospitalised! From start to finish, it lasted around 2 weeks!
Sorry for tmi, but I had a feel inside today, and I’m swollen! My ovary is bigger, I have nausea, sweat, headache, dark urine, so at this point, without a gp I have started some antibiotics for intra-abdominal sepsis! So hopefully I’ll just pick up! I’m trying to stay out of hospital, they have enough to deal with with the pandemic! At end of the day, that should be my gp’s job, not mine! Xx
Don’t be silly,it’s not tmi it’s you giving a clearer picture and with these symptoms you just as important as those being dealt with due to the pandemic.Try to drink more water if you add a bit of ginger/lemon it would help the nauseousness.I’m against self medication especially antibiotics but ild be thinking of you.☹️☹️.
I know you're not at this point at the moment, but I've just found this and thought I'd pass the link along to you, just in case it can help in the future. So sorry to hear all you're going through. I'd definitely call 111 and get some advice. Xx
The thing is, that is what I eat and have done my entire life!
I don’t eat junk food! I would say my diet, when I can eat, when my bowel isn’t bad, is probably one of the healthiest!
I’ve never been over-weight! Up until I was 25 I was a full on healthy weight/athletic build! But it would appear that is likely when my Endo advanced, because since then I’ve actually been getting lighter and lighter, but nothings changed, other than I’m probably less active now, because of Endo and it’s effect on my health! I am currently 1st 2lbs off my 25 year old weight!
HiHow are you feeling now? Did you get joy with anything.
I bought some antibiotics online, (not something that should be done, but got desperate) ones recommended for SIBO. I told GP and dietician what I was doing. Started last night, best thing ever as definitely have some sort of infection, head was so much clearer and better appetite.
