Recently been diagnosed with endo and just had my first zoladex injection on Thursday.
No immediate side effects noticed but ive had some vertigo over the last few days. Wondered if anyone else had suffered from this on zoladex?
I expected side effects to occur quite quickly (no idea why!) so just wondered others experiences on whether it took a few days/weeks to notice side effects or even another injection? If I do ok this month I'm meant to be having the injection that lasts 3 months rather than having them monthy.
Thanks all, reading your posts has helped me during the last few months going through diagnosis!

I suffer with dizziness and zolodex made it worse. I lasted 5 months before stopping as side effects worse than symptoms for me. But everyone is different so it may work for you . X
Hiya, the only side effects I’ve ever had have been hot flushes. Hopefully your dizziness will settle.
I was originally on monthly injections and have only agreed to the 3 monthly ones so I don’t have to visit my Dr every month due to covid. If you’re still not sure about going for 3 months, I’d check with your GP before the next injection is due, to see if they’re open to doing another couple of monthly injections before going for the 3 month one.
I switched to zoladex from prostap, to stop my bleeding.. but I have found that I been bleeding pretty much everyday for the last 6 months on zoladex.. and without HRT.. I feel every menopausal side effect so migraines, sickness, hot flushes etc.. I'm due to switch back to prostap at some point this month.. its helped reduce my pains alot though.. so now I just feel pain when I open my bowels not round the clock as I would usually if i werent on these injections. Hope u feel better soon xx
Just thought I would jump on here and say Zoladex never stopped my bleeding. I had my really heavy usual 10 day period each month plus bleeding in between. X
