So i’ve been trying to figure out what “triggers” my bad pain days. Some days I will be feeling more or less fine and others it’s a struggle to stand. I can’t seem to figure out why it’s so bad some days and so fine other days? Does anyone have any suggestions for things to look out for? x
Thanks guys xx

Hey, Maybe food diary will help? Some foods do make endo symptoms worse for some women. Stress? I don't have periods every month so I feel period type issues in the months in between - pretty much around the date the period should've been. Some women experience issues at ovulation /when ovulation should have been. Not pacing myself has been an issue - doing too much on my "good days". Not enough rest on my bad days. Though I do think too much rest is an issue too, for example curling up onto a ball for long periods of time tightens the abdominal muscles which makes pain worse. Not enough movement on bad days - stretches and exercise help me. X
I’ve found that a diet without processed sugar and gluten really helps with symptoms when not on my period but it doesn’t seem to change the intensity when on my period. I also can’t eat solids when having a flare or it makes it so much worse. I tend to drink beef/lamb/chicken bone broth with miso as it’s the most meal like liquid I’ve tried.
I have an active job as a landscaper but had a couple of months of being pretty sedentary after my lap in the covid winter. And then there are other times in life when I’ve worked in an office and haven’t done much exercise and symptoms got worse. Movement and stretching certainly helps me. Not enough to call it manageable but a noticeable difference.
