Hello everyone. 3 weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to diagnose endo. I was told that I would be good to get back to normal after 2 weeks so I tried a kettlebell class last week. I got very gassy/burpy/belching after the class but it passed. I did another class a couple of days later and was sick. I was under the impression that if I had returned too quickly I would feel it in my wounded areas, not vomiting after I’d completed a workout. I tried again today, a little easier on myself and again, the trapped gas appeared.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’m not sure what’s going on.

I had my surgery 4 days ago. I am super gassy and have been sick a couple of times. They pump your tummy full of gas so they can see what they are doing so seems understandable that we are gassy. I think it’s the trapped gas that made me feel ill. I even got aching shoulders which apparently trapped gas which dissipated by moving about.
I just watched a video with Kayla Itsines on Instagram and she said exactly the same as what you’ve just said, doubled over in pain because of the gas. I wonder if that’s what is making me feel like that after exercise? Just seems odd because I didn’t have any pain after the surgery, didn’t do any exercise for 2 weeks and as soon as I did, gas and vomit. I’ll give it another week and I try again.
