Hi, I’m 23 years old and was diagnosed with endo in June of 2020. I started taking birth control to manage pain symptoms in august, and it is now March and I’m not feeling much better.
My problem today is I am on day one of the placebo pills and I feel so incredibly sad. I woke up this morning feeling so awful and sad and I can’t shake it. I know it’s probably my hormones, but does anyone have any advice on how to shake this?

Hi,I’m sorry you are going through this! I experience the same thing about a week before I’m due on my period, it can be extremely overwhelming.
I usually put myself in a better situation, be around people you like that make you feel good (or be alone if that’s what you prefer, I do as I there is no cheering me up!) and just take some time to explain to yourself that it’s going to be okay and yea things might not be wonderful in life right now but it’s not as bad as you feel in those moments andirons won’t last forever usually helps me stay in control. Hope this helps! Xx
It may be an option to speak to the doctor again and say that you think the sadness may be related to the pill you are on. They can always try you on a different one that doesn't give you that reaction.
