I am due to have an MRI scan this upcoming Friday to see whether I may have Endometriosis. I have already had an ultrasound and an internal scan in my vagina and everything all looked okay, nothing unusual. But I was wondering if anyone gets this? So I'm currently getting low left pain, it is this nagging pain that is always there, and when needing a bowel movement the pain can become very sharp and can bring me to tears. Sometimes it can make me feel sick and come out in sweats and of course makes me very anxious. It feels like there is pressure there like this nagging feeling, and can make me need to wee loads. I was wondering if anyone experiences this? Makes me very tired as well.

Hi! I’m currently under investigations for endometriosis- I’ve also had an ultrasound and internal vagina ultrasound both found some abnormalities. I also get lower left side pain that can be excruciating. It was so bad a couple of weeks ago I almost called an ambulance (had I have not been an NHS worker who needed to be at work the next day I would have). I get pain literally all over my body as well, but hope it’s reassuring to know you’re not alone with this pain.
I’ve had endometriosis since 2016 after constant tests. Had surgery which never really helped I just got told I was unlucky. Still having to deal with those pain and on top of that since last September I’ve been having pain in my low left side especially after going to the toilet even just for a wee. The pain is so bad I’m reduced to tears. Sometimes it gives me like a spasm type pain from my lower left side to my back, struggle to walk or move for about 10-15 mins which feels like longer. Still undergoing tests, ultrasounds and internal scans are fine so now been discharged from Gynaecology. They suspect it could be bowels or kidney related. Waiting for referral from a urologist. I just have to try and keep strong, and no amount of sleep is never enough. It is hard but I have to keep going for the sake of my little girl.
I really do hope you get sorted soon, let us know how you get on. You’re not alone in this.
Hi, I have the same. Lower left pain in groin, top of thigh and lower back. Ultrasounds were clear but mri had shown suspected endo. Had a lap 5 months later and diagnosed with rectovaginal endo. Not very pleasant at all. Im currently on Decapeptyl injections awaiting surgery.
Yes! Pain in lower left side. Lap showed that was where most of the endo was. Also pain when waiting for bowel movement.
