since urinating blood they found endo in my bladder but now i have a near constant pain in my upper/mid back, i had to leave work 2 and a half hours earlier yesterday giving in after staying for 8 hours, i did phone the gp but the lady who has been dealing with me is not there and wont be next week either, i explained the situation and asked if they could expedite the referral (speed up) which the receptionist spoke to the secretary and did as i received a letter today to call the referral gateway to book an app. and have a tel con with a male dr on Tuesday but am a bit skeptical about that as don't think will fully understand but im willing to give it a shot

Hi there. I think I just read and replied to another post of yours about having endo in your bladder. I used to get a lot of back pain when my bladder endo was flared. It could do be related to a urinary tract infection which is then linked to your kidneys. It is with handing in a urine sample to your go in case you do have an infection. Quite often nothing will show up if it is linked to your endo inflammation though. The pressure from your bladder or bowel may be a factor that is causing the pain.

I put in my last reply to you that Zoladax helped the endo and all related symptoms so much. x

hi thanks for the reply, its not infection as they tested urine and bloods to check for that before they found the endo, i was just wondering if it was linked to endo or something new as it started after the urinating blood, they said a scan on my kidneys n staid that looked fine, is that a med that tricks u into menapause?

I think it could be linked to the inflammation from the endo in your bladder. I was told that if it was in my bladder it was also likely to have penetrated through the lining and be affecting my bowel, or the endo could have been sticking my bowel & bladder together. I didn’t ever get a clear answer about the back pain but it always eased when my endo was not flaring. Zoladex involved a monthly injection of a tiny pellet into your stomach area. The nurse at your gp can do it. It tricks your body into the menopause by stopping your body from producing oestrogen. Therefore eggs are not produced or released and your period stops. The high progesterone level in your body then causes menopausal symptoms, which can be eased by HRT. I took hrt tablets and it def eased the night sweats and hot flushes! It is a temporary menopause so your body starts producing oestrogen again when you stop the med. However I think the gynae said they have to warn people that it may trigger someone’s actual menopause. I have never heard of that actually happening. I can understand that if someone is close to that happening anyway.

I hope that makes more sense.

It is worth googling foods that naturally increase your oestrogen (like soya) and a avoiding those too. x

But do keeping chasing your gp and make sure they check everything out for you x x
