Should I just give up . I Am 2 months into zoladex I feel hurrendous I’m constantly tired still having pain especially in my legs thighs feel nauseous hair coming out . I appreciate Side effects but this is taking its toll now they are not wearing of , I’m literally waking up to take my girl to school and pick up. And can’t get up even washing hair is an effect let alone house work . Also having hot flushes but apparently to young for hrt. I don’t feel well. Constant weird headache too . I want to obviously get well but at the same time I don’t feel an improvement being on it .unsure to have 3rd ? Xxx

I'm due my 4th injection on Monday and really feel like telling them to stop it. I'm taking HRT so haven't any menopausal side effects but endo symptoms are worse than ever and periods haven't even stopped. I know they'll say.....oh just give it another month......but really don't think anything will be different.

It's crap in it?

Hi Sarah

I'm so sorry you feel this way, endometriosis really is rubbish :-(.

It may be worth speaking to your doc again about taking HRT? I've never heard a doc say that someone is too young for HRT whilst on Zoladex. I personally found that taking HRT (tibolone) with Zoladex actually made my pain a bit better and made my hot flushes etc. more manageable - I think it might be about finding a hormone balance that works for you. Also, have you considered trying Prostap? It's similar to Zoladex, but some people get on better with one or the other. I have tried both Zoladex and Prostap and found that Prostap worked a bit better for me and was a less painful injection!

Please remember that if you need someone to talk to, Endometriosis UK has a free helpline (0808 808 2227) which is run by volunteers who have personal experience of endometriosis. The helpline is open most days and the times it is open can be found here: endometriosis-uk.org/suppor....

Also, Endometriosis UK recently posted a webinar about pain management during COVID-19. Some of the tips may be helpful to you: youtube.com/watch?v=AkP9a53....

I hope you're feeling better soon! xx
