I was due to go in for endometriosis surgery tomorrow but it has been cancelled due to COVID.
I am in pain for what feels like always. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to ease this pain in my stomach? The pain worsens before and during my period.
The gynaecologist keeps telling me he believes I have endometriosis but cannot be 100% without surgery to diagnose.
Any suggestions to ease this pain?

So sorry it’s been postponed, sounds better than cancelled, it will happen. I’d hoped no one would have surgery changed. Not sure what pain relief you’re taking, I have Amitriptyline, either Tramadol or Oramorph, plus paracetamol. Tried various, nothing for me totally takes it away and wheat bags are really useful.
Consultants won’t commit to this without actually seeing it, the first one I saw was pretty sure, but said similar.
I’m so sorry to hear that your lap has been cancelled, I was supposed to have a lap today (24/12) but it got cancelled as well.
Pain wise, all I can do is top up on pain killers and a hot water bottle wherever I go. I also try not to have as much dairy (but maybe because I’ve always been a bit intolerant to it) so in teas or cereals, I have oat milk instead which helps me.
I hope you get the appointment rescheduled soon. Just keep chasing them up and don’t feel bad about it because it may not seem that “urgent” to them but it’s our health and body and we need to get it sorted x
