Hi everyone so today i had removal of Stage 4 rv endo off my bowel, and a biopsy was taking all went well Although in really bad pain. all removed although he said he can not guarntee that this will resolve my symptoms and he will follow up with me in 6 to 8 weeks and then 6 months later and suggested i go on the mini pill to help. he also said by my symtoms of heavy bleeding and imaging as my uterus was red and inflammed i have Adenomyosis aswell as RV Endo in which he stated the only way to really know is via removal of uterus and they examine it and cut it up to know for certain (have researched and googled this and seems correct as it is very hard to see on imaging. he said he will not talk about hystercotomy at this stage as he is hoping the excision removal will help improve along with the mini pill, anyone had this before or any advice on this. thanks xx

HiGlad to hear your op went well and although in pain your on your way to recovery

I'm waiting on having a op to remove bowel endo but will be getting a hysterectomy at the same time

Hopefully the mini pill will help in keeping things under control for you.

take care and get plenty of rest
