Painful heavy and irregular periods. IBS. Pain during intercourse and no-one will help me. Doctors just poo-poo me. I had a lap at 22 and they said I had a narrow birth canal but I'm 40 now and it's unbearable. I know something is wrong with me...can anyone advise me? Thanks

Keep going into A&e and saying how unbearable you’re finding the pain. I had to go to a&e 3 times before getting an emergency internal examination and that’s when they told me i had endo. tell them how long you’ve be living with the pain and that nothing helps and you’ve been turned away by so many. keep being persistent and they will listen. take care x
Thank you for reply. All they want to do is stick me on the pill, which doesn't agree with me or help anyway. Surely I shouldn't also be experiencing pain during sex at this stage? A and E you recommend?
Hi, I’ve been through the same situation...2 things worked for me. I had lg. Cysts on my ovaries, and I started drinking Bragg's organic Apple cider vinegar. I took 1 tbsp in the AM and 1 tbsp PM of which Both on empty stomach can be diluted with water if you choose. It took me a week maybe 2 and no pain! Went for my RE-check a month later (I still was drinking the apple cider) and no cysts were present! Another hint) if you happen to be taking Abilify (like I used to) all your symptoms (just like i had) it’s a major reaction of side affects too!!) The Dr.,gave me Depakote ER and all is well Wishing you Support, snd prayers 🙏💜🙋♀️
Hi, sorry your experiencing this! Is the pain during sex deep pain? Does it last for days after. If its towards the front it would most likely be vulvodynia, if it feels like a spasm in your vagina then vaginismus and if its deep its more likely endometriosis.
Painful periods could be endometriosis but normally it doesn't cause irregular periods. Have your hormone levels been checked by your GP? Are you experiencing any other symptoms?
Heavy and painful periods can be caused by hormonal imbalance. When we have high estrogen and low progesterone periods can be heavy, painful and irregular.
Have they given you Tranexamic acid for the heavy bleeding? Its very effective.
The pain is deep. Deep down, I have always thought I had endo, but my lap 18 years ago didn't show anything. Had hormone test and do take transamic acid.
If you are getting no assistance, document it and file a complaint with PALs. You should not be left to suffer.
