Hi new here. Suffered with heavy painful periods for five years now, since I was 15. It has got progressively worse until the last few months where my symptoms have changed dramatically such as SEVERE leg pain and interference with my bladder, every time I am having or am due for my period, I get an intense burning pain in my bladder. I feel like I’m trying to urinate acid but nothing is coming out. However when I do manage to relieve myself, it comes unexpectedly and I cannot control when it’s happening, it can happen up to 4 times a day. At 20 this isn’t normal surely. I’m currently under referral to see a gyno about a laparoscopy however who knows how long that could be. I’ve tried to speak to multiple doctors about it and the fact I can feel that something is not right, and I feel like I’m being brushed to the curb I just need some kind of enlightenment into what is going on inside my body !!!

In view of your symptoms it is vital that the lap is done by someone with expertise in diagnosing endo and not a general gynaecologist. Are you in the UK and if so which country?
