I'm finding recently that I can be 7-10 days late with my period most months, this is only a recent thing that has started happening this year, but I still get all the pain in those days I'm waiting.
I'm now on the waiting list for laparoscopy and second hysteroscopy so hoping to get some answers in the near future!

Hi yeah this has happened a few times for me in lockdown due to stress I think. what’s possibly happening is you’re ovulating later. When my body/life was under more pressure my body delayed ovulation until things “calmed down”. So it seemed like my period started later. I started taking ashwagandha to help relax more and to be fair for the last 4 months my period has normalised. Not sure if this is helpful, I wish you luck as it sucks having a long cycle with pain too! Xx
My ovulation time does seem later so this could be the reason then! I don't feel stressed but I guess my body could be stressed without me realising! I'll check out ashwagandha, thank you xx
Me. But then I’m 50 in February and it’s to be expected. I have that brilliant Flo App on my phone to log things and I see it’s all over the place these days. 7 days late, then 40 days late, then 7 days early.....Fluctuating hormones and drops in oestrogen I’d say. Can’t wait for the day the flipping thing dries up once and for all and I get my life back. Nina
I see, I'm 28 and also have an app which I track my cycles on, lately they're always over 30 days. Could be my hormones then I'm guessing! I can imagine you are, good luck!
