Mri & results

Hey all,

I’m due to go for my MRI in an hour, I am very nervous, but just want it over and done with if I’m being honest.

What’s giving me more anxiety is waiting for the results, I don’t have an appointment until 1st September, I’m a worried & overthink every single little detail, and I’m just worried I’m going to make myself ill & stressed worrying about the results.... does anyone know if I could give it a few days and then call my doctors secretary and explain about my anxiety and ask if I she could possibly call me with my results or are they not allowed to do that? Honestly don’t know how I’m going to last nearly 2 weeks without knowing... also this is for a suspect cyst on my ovary... also had CA125 blood test thanks all x

I didn’t like it at all, my anxiety was terrible, but I managed to get through xx

Hello. Try not to stress too much. I've been there; my ca 125 was in the hundreds but I was told that was due to inflammation. The MRI showed a adenomyoma and small cysts. It's daunting to be in the machine. They gave me headphones and put on music of my choice. That really helped. Good luck

My experience here in Germany is that if a Ct or Mri shows something dangerous they make you wait right away to see a dr. When there is nothing serious they will make you wait just to get your cd and results are forwarded to your dr and your de usually has results within 3-5 days.
