Hi, I was diagnosed with endometriosis 3 weeks ago and now I am feeling more healed up I am wondering where to start. There is so much information on diets and supplements and hormones it’s hard to grasp what the first step is.
So if anyone has any helpful tips I would love to know x

It’s not easy, hard to say where to begin and a lot is trial error, whether it’s foods or medication. I’d say research has been a big help, including reading past posts here. The search part has been really helpful, and the endo UK site.
Was you diagnosis through lap or gynaecologist being sure? Have you had any treatment?
Well done for getting through the op, it's a wild ride for sure lol. Glad your starting to feel a bit better now. And I totally get what you mean - there is so much stuff out there it's hard to know where to start with it all.
Unfortunately there is no set treatment plan for treating endo as everyone's presentation/reactions to things are different. The best thing to do in your individual case is to talk to either your endo doctor or specialist nurse about next steps for you and see what they recommend. This will usually be stuff like hormonal treatments like the pill or coil etc.
The same thing goes for alternative treatments - different things work for different people so you wont know until you try.
Sometimes a good place to start is to focus on a particular symptom you want to deal with. For example, if you have really bad back pain, looking at something like pelvic floor therapy or acupuncture might work. If you deal with nausea, incorporating supplements that will help with that might be the place to start. Bloating? Experimenting with an anti inflammatory diet might offer some relief.
Also, something that really helped me over the years was finding a nutritional therapist who specialises in women's hormones and working with her to find what diet/supplement plan works for my individual body. If that is an option for you I def recommend it.
Have you had your post-op appointment yet? There's so many things to try, I think it would be best to speak to a medical professional to make sure the next steps are right for you.
