Endo??

Hey everyone!!!! looking for some insight here.

ever since I was young and had my first period at 12 It was brutal, I bled for seven days straight having to change my tampon once every hour always bled onto my sheets and had the most debilitating cramps. I always thought that this was normal because my friends always talked about having cramps but little did I know none of them were the way mine were. At 18 I got on birth control. After two trial and error’s I found one that worked for me I wasn’t getting a period and things were pretty good. fast forward to a year later, I had a serious boyfriend and kept forgetting to take my pill so december 2019 i decided to get the Kyleena IUD placed. I thought it would be great I wouldn’t have to worry about taking a little pill every day

I was wrong!.... my periods returned and were very crampy once again sex especially in doggy style became unbearable so much to the point that I would cry and have to stop. Another incident of random pain actually took me to the emergency room where I was diagnosed with cystic ovaries but not PCOS other than that the ultrasound was clear and they sent me home with little to no explanation.

still dealing with pelvic cramping most days of the month that I seem to have tracked to my ovulation time I recently in the last few months started experiencing some light spotting after sex.

i’ve brought this all up to my gynecologist and it seems as though she pushes it to the side and tells me it’s normal I just turned 21 and made them give me my first Pap smear I am still waiting on those results.

my boyfriend doesn’t understand well he tries to but I used to have such a high sex drive and now it’s practically gone at the age of 21.

I also recently started experiencing leg aches lower back ache and some more cramping during the month.

I guess my question is does this sound like endometriosis? And has anyone else has symptoms progressed over time?

I guess I should also add that I have gone to Gastro doctors regarding stomach pains and occasional bouts of constipation alternating with diarrhea. He diagnosed me with IBS and sent me home. I am so sick of feeling like nobody listens to me. I know pain during sex and spotting and leg and back aches is also The first symptoms of cervical cancer, I am waiting on my Pap smear results but that is extremely scary and I don’t want to increase my anxiety anymore. I think the reason I have so much health anxiety is because of being in so much pain for so long and continuing to be told there’s nothing wrong. how could that possibly be?!?!?

I had a very similar story and I've been diagnosed with endometriosis one year ago.

Same pain, spotting after sex, pain during sex, a lot of pelvic cramping and lower back ache

I had laparoscopy surgery to remove an endometriotic cist after 2 years of constant pain.

I'm sorry to tell you this really sound like endometriosis and most doctor don't even think about it if they don't see something big like the cist I had

I almost want it to be endo... these symptoms are so scary, bleeding after sex and terrible pain is a new one. everything on line points to cancer... im only not so concerned as ive been dealing with other gynecological problems & can assume theyre related & whatever it is if it is Endo is progressing..

Whit your symptoms could totally be endo, hope it's not cancer 🤞 i know it can be frustrating with the pain and not knowing what causes it just try to stay calm and wait for the results
