Does anyone have any advice on bloating and how to prevent it I’m trying a new diet and have just booked an appointment with my GP as well. I just wanted to see if anyone has any advice. My stomach bloats sooo badly all the time and it’s just making me feel really uncomfortable in my own skin.

I have found that fennel tea works really well - it has a bit of a funny taste but you get used to it but really helps with bloating and things like that. Might be worth a try. Hope it helps.
Hi yes I have this every day too. Keep a food and fluids diary, your GP can refer you to a support group that encompasses ibs as its very similar. The 'diet' is called fodmaps and lots of Internet stuff from Australia and USA. Try cutting out gluten and I have lactose free milk, see if that helps xx
Personally I have to avoid white bread - I look pregnant after I’ve eaten it. I’ve been eating a lot of brown bread, weetabix and vegetables. This has helped me a lot. Also, like the others have said peppermint tea. I also use either windeze or Renee deflatine as these help too.
Peppermint tea really helps me. I always used to grab a coffee or cup of tea in the morning, but I’ve switched it to peppermint tea and I have eventually become used to it. It eases the pain and bloating so it’s worth the switch. I’m also doing a food endo diary to see which foods affect my symptoms. Xx
I used peppermint capsules since im not fussed on tea overall. But i do struggle with this a lot all month around. Not just on periods. I try to limit fizzy drinks, alcohol and coffee. I'm yet go find a proper fix. Peppermint oil helps owth nausea too which is great😊 i heard castor oil on stomach with massage is good but haven't tried it for myself yet. If you fine a solution please let me know! I'm 21 and can't wear clothes i want to wear not even jeans. I buy them but never wear them 😂 good luck x
Thank you all for your replies I’m 21 too and really struggle when it comes to being comfortable in the clothes I wear. Really appreciate everyone going out their way to share their experiences X
