Heyy, I have recently been told that my endometriosis has spread to my lungs via MRI scan. Anyone else have this? What happened? What surgery are my going to expect?

Just wondering what your symptoms are.....I've been trying to research this without much luck but I feel like my endo is moving up my body ...if that makes sense

Hey. The symptoms I have is constant sharp pain from my pelvis up to under my ribs. My endo is also on my large intestine. I have 2 more cysts on each ovary and few benign lumps. It feels like a massive weight is pulling all of my organs down. Have sharp pain in my lower back also where my kidneys are. I asked my Dr for an MRI scan and had it two weeks after I asked. It is worth asking for it.

That sounds very familiar......I'm currently waiting to see bowel surgeon as large bowel is being pulled and endo causing probs but sharp and heavy from pelvis to ribs only time I get mild relief is first three days of period but then Im dealing with period pain and a cough which goes once my period has ended.

I hope you find some info soon.....nothing worse than not knowing what's going to happen

take care

I get that cough on my periods which I am awaiting to get to the bottom of it with my doctor. I suspect the same thing endo in diaphragm/lungs. There was another interesting posy here a few weeks back where someone had collapsed lungs because of endo there.

Hi yes I've heard a few people mention collapsed lung I think that's how a lot have been diagnosed.

Its such a tricky disease to confirm as whatever it attaches to it it causes probs .know a few people had gallbladder removed then found it was endo on gall bladder causing probs.....same if its on bowel IBS symptoms.

Have you been diagnosed with endo?

Yes severe stage 4 all over my pelvic floor and bowls. Following up on the the lung side now. Not any under medication as trying to manage pain as naturally as I can . The struggle is real though as we all know.

Hats off to you.....no pain relief I cant even get up till my meds are in me. after my first lap in 2017 I tried a year on herbal treatment...Agnus castus.....it helped with my periods but not any of the other endo probs I was having.

Its a horrid condition to be living with especially when you constantly battle to find something that works

take care
