Has anyone had endometriosis on the diaphragm and what were your symptoms? I have had pain under my right rib for over a year, it almost feels like I'm sat on something when I sit down which is worrying. The past two weeks I'm just feeling pain the left side as well. I wake up some mornings with sore ribs.

Endometriosis on the diaphragm
Before I started monthly prostap injections I had horrible pain around ribs. I even woke up with severe bruising around my rib cage. My endometriosis nurse refuses to consider it was linked to endometriosis, and my GP suggested I was having indigestion. The symptoms have gone away since being on prostap, and I’ve been having the injections for 5 months now. I’m worried to come off the injections and never have the issue sorted as I know there have been cases of endometriosis around rib cage area. I hope you have better luck with figuring out what is actually causing the pain!
Is there any possibility it’s your gallbladder playing up? I had pain and discomfort there a long time before my gallbladder was removed.
I have endometriosis on diaphragm. I often feel pain shooting up at my higher back especially on shoulder blades.
Often feel lika a plastic sheet is inserted where the diaphragm is.
I also experience cracking sound or feeling under ribcage when I twist my bidy, too.
The existence of endometeriosis confirmed during laparoscopic excision.
But unfortunately, no thoracic surgent was there as not detected by MRI so no excision of the lesion...
Gerrrr!
Thanks for the reply. Mine is right under my right rib cage and left and pain goes right around. I have chest pain and back pain that starts half way up my back at the top end. Doctor won't send me for a MRI even thou I would be paying, she said it won't show up. I just want to find out if it is diaphragm endometriosis as I'm worried it's something more serious and I'm leaving it. I had a servere case it on my pelvis 7 yrs ago and had it removed so could have grown back.
oh, dear. One another symptom is shoulder pain. I used to get very bad shoulder pain on my right shoulder. The pain is less since I am on pills and Marina.
MRI does not show my endometriosis, and the consultant is relactant to remove them as she says risky.
But the truth here, I think is that she cannot op on me and need a thoracic surgent who can handle the case. I am not sure if they have one such consultant at where I am registered...
Anyway, I will be writing to my consultant to further op on me to improve my quality of life.
I'm on a 9 month waiting list so it's a long way off to find out I suppose. Did you go private or NHS?
That's the problem you need a specialist surgeon as like you said a MRI don't show up and they're not prepared
Was it your 1st laparoscopy when they discovered it on the diaphragm?
