Does anyone struggle with peeing ?! Do you strain to urinate ? I feel like I want to pee and then when I sit to go it doesn’t come naturally and I feel I have to strain a little - Is this a common thing or anything of concern !? Any comments would be gratefully received. Many thanks 😊

Straining to pee ?!
I do, more so when bowels are being an extra pain, and when bloated for other reasons. I think the scan said the uterus is pressing on it. The GP didn’t seem concerned when I’ve mentioned it. No idea if it’s an issue or not.
Morning yeah I and this problem and it was a urine infection so maybe worth phoning to speak to the nurse x
Hiya, yes i do get this too!! I only recently realized this could be yet another symptom of endometriosis, it is particularly bad when I'm actually on my period, sometimes I have to really push to be able to pee even if i am bursting and it can almost feel as though i can't feel myself peeing if that makes sense.
Yes, I started getting this symptom 2 years ago and have been treated for a UTI infection several times, but it persists (never stopped really, even during the antibiotics). I know I have endo on my bladder and am now hoping an upcoming laparoscopy will resolve this.
Good evening all - instead of replying separately I wanted to say Thankyou to everyone that has replied 😊 my situation is a little different as I have MRKH and am scheduled for a MRI on 13 th August. I have had pelvic pain for about 10 months, had numerous conversations with my doctor, been to out of hours and A&E And had several ultrasounds 3 of which they couldn’t see my ovaries and two showing cysts and then the last was clear all fine - which I’m sure you can all relate to 🙄 I was just wondering if this ‘peeing’ thing was an endometriosis symptom ?!
For my experience I think it is related and the consultant seemed to think it was as well. Sorry I didn’t mention it before.
MRI didn’t show one of my ovaries a few weeks back, he couldn’t find it at lap in Feb due to distortion of uterus. It did confirm other aspects to do with the endo.
