Hi Jayde

The only thing I get that’s strong is codeine and tramadol. Again this makes some people sick / nauseous. Can’t win!

Those tablets knock me out so all I can do is laze about until my pain goes away x

Hot water bottle and massage oils. Also see if you can sleep properly that helps too.

Peppermint or Camomile Tea helps me with nausea and taking daily CBD oil helps with my pain. Its also worth looking at an anti-inflammatory diet and cutting out dairy, sugar and caffeine.

Hi JaydeWylie

Did your GP/Gynae not give you any pain relief when you got your diagnosis?

Hello yes I have had mefenamic acid taking them 6 times a day but they don’t seem to be helping, I am allergic to a few a couple of pain killers so it’s a bit difficult you see

Difficult! Mefenamic acid was my saviour but not yours☹️after my Laps. Your GP has a duty of care to ensure you are not in pain go back to him/her and ask for help, you don't suppose your Endo has come back?

I rang the doctors last week explaining the pain wasn’t stopping, and i have a telephone call booked in for next Tuesday to discuss!! It has came back they believe as I’m having more surgery in a few weeks just waiting a date :(

OK that's good, at least they are doing something positive so when you have the tidy up op see what pain/hormone relief is offered, maybe Provera, Norethisterone or even the coil(which I am not a fan of). Let us know how you get on and good luck with your Endo support group🤞

hi. How are you doing? The days of constantly feeling sick and being exhausted from not being able to sleep due to the pain were awful ☹ , do you know were the endometriosis is/ was at your last surgery? Some medication aggravates it so for me my gp prescribed codeine but as I've got bowel endometriosis it was making everything worse, once I was better medication it was more bearable and I found the pain team very informative and helped me use the medication properly. Heat was helpful ( going to have to look up the long hot water 😃), diet did and still does have a big impact on my pain. As already mentioned peppermint tea and lemon ginger really soothing to. Xx

For me it helped a lot to find the food that are hard to digest. I take epsom salt baths, CBD oil and also vaping it when the pain is sharp. Ginger tea helped me with the nausea. And for the real pain I drink red borneo kratom tea. It slows down the digestions, so it is good to take some magnesium regularly, but it works like magic.

Pelvic floor therapy and progressive muscle relaxation is also something that I can highly recommend just to achieve a more relaxed state during the never ending battle we are in.

Go to the GP and get an anti nausea tablet prescription. I have them for my migraines and they save me when my Endo pain is so bad I’m being sick and passing out . Also get a TENS machine . They aren’t very expensive and mine literally save me each time , they don’t completely take away the pain but they make it bearable with painkillers

I've been taking ashwaganda, maca root and turmeric for about a month and it did help with pain and sleep as well.
