Twitching in right buttocks cheek?

I'm looking for some advice on symptoms regarding endometriosis. I had my lap last July, my sharp pains had dissipated for a few months and then came back around November time. I've always had the shooting pains down my thighs and some sciatic pain in my right butt cheek but the sciatica comes and goes over the months. Recently though, I've had a twitching in my right butt cheek, on and off all day and its starting to drive me a bit crazy. It doesn't matter if I'm standing, sitting or lying down. Has anyone else experienced this type of symptom? I've read endo can spread to nerves but is this as common and should I get it looked into? The only thing I've changed since this started happening is I'm taking wellwoman multivitamins and having a protein shake for breakfast, so I doubt this is it? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hey JordDamnx, I had very similar symptoms and was lucky enough to find a neurologist open to the possibility of extrapelvic endo. He gave me MRIs to look for endo on the nerves but found the problem was with my hips. I had a hip impingement and labral tear and a ganglion cyst growing in the ischiofemoral space, compressing the sciatic nerve. Extrapelvic endometriosis is rare but is worth exploring if all other possible causes of sciatica have been ruled out. Sciatica isn’t always disc related, it could be piriformis syndrome or due to any of the glutes being weak/contracted. It is probably less crazy making to rule out all other possible cases of sciatica before exploring the possibility of Extrapelvic endo. Good luck.
