Has anyone been told a date for when they will be getting there surgery if it was postponed? I’m getting really frustrated that they are still saying no surgeries are happening and they don’t know when they are going to start again.

Surgery dates
Hi! I just got a call from the hospital today - no date yet, but they are starting the ball rolling with phone pre-admissions. Mine was supposed to be beginning of April and I was told I'm likely to get a date in July-August now. Hang in there!
My hysterectomy has been booked in for mid July was due to go ahead on 7th April but was canceled only because my gp kept on to the consultant who took it management who then agreed and booked me in!! I know they are starting electives back up but maybe ask gp to expedite
Thank you I have made an appointment with my gp to hopefully move this along
I live in Virginia and I actually had my surgery 2 weeks ago. They are now allowing non emergency and elective surgeries here. You have to take. COVID test 3 days before and quarantine before procedure but slowly back to normal.
I had a call Tuesday mine is scheduled for two weeks from then, I have to isolate for 14 days and have a COVID test. They’ve told me the surgery will be done at a local private hospital. I had been reading that NHS were using private facilities. Pleased it’s been booked now. I had the pre-op in April and was meant to have surgery then too.
