Since I’ve had my second coil I keep getting boils on my bum. (Around 9 in the last 3 years) So painful and so annoying.

Yes! Not any more but looking back, mine were all when I had the coil too. Large and nasty and they also get very hot!

Yes! Mine we’re on the back of my neck in my hairline, they still occasionally come back since having the coil out, but nowhere near as bad xx

Thanks for the reply guys, I thought I was going mad with relating them to the coil. I’ve tried everything to stop them coming back. The doctors aren’t very helpful and just say it’s one of those things... maybe I’ll speak to my gynaecologist and see if she knows of any relationship between them. Did you do anything that help them?

Hello there. 👋

Yes i have suffered from those nearly my whole life. I was on antibiotics all the time (which made me sick all the time) and then was put on long term antibiotic therapy for about 3 years on and off >< ( 1 tablet a day) and that didn't do anything either. Of course as soon as I came off the tablets they came back with a vengeance. I also suffered from lichen planus on my legs, feet, which spread to my belly and even some in my mouth.

I then did my own research and realised that its all coming from a weakened immune system and an inflammatory condition a sort of autoimmune response. I found that both gluten and sugar played a big part in causing inflammatory conditions and so i stopped them both and t within 6 weeks everything disappeared. Olive oil got ride of the ugly scars left behind too!

You may want to try that and see if it works for you too. I am glad to say that i have been boil free and lichen free for nearly 8 years now. Best decision i ever made. Doctors seem to want to just shove tablets down your throat without really seeing if simply dietary changes can help. In my case, they did.

Wishing you all the best in what you choose.

Thank you M, interesting you mention diet I have been following a keto diet for the last 2 months for health benefits. Hopefully it kicks in and I see some changes. I have been stressed over this covid period so maybe that’s got a part to play to.

Glad to hear you’ve been boil free for 8 years and thank you for the tips I’ll try olive oil for the scars!

Nw. Anytime💞

Yes stress plays a big part i must admit so that needs to be controlled. Don't worry too much about this Covid-19, this will hinder your immune system when you need it the most! Please concentrate on strengthening your immune system and when its working in optimum levels it can take care of any virus/ bacteria. Its very intelligent, we just need to give it the right fuels to fight. Our diet and stress levels play a huge part in this.

I hope you get some relief.
