Does anybody else get boil type spots in there groin area?
It doesn't sound like anything endo related to be honest. Sounds more like infected ingrown hairs from shaving, or blocked sweat glands. Your best off going to see your GP, or mentioning it next time you go.
Good luck x
Got to agree with Cloudy on this one. Does sound like a persistant infection. Might take a course of antibiotis to clear that up, plus boil washing undies and shirts to kill off bacteria that keeps getting in to sweating pores. There are some BC pills that can upset hormones and make you more prone to spots so you might need to switch any meds you are on, to something else, to see if that clears them up, but I suspect it is more likely to be an infection.
endo does wreck your immune system and make it much tougher to fend off any bacterial or viral bug getting in you.
Hi I actually have one by groin and yesterday realised I had one under my arm in armpit as was really sore. I can suffer with ingrown hairs but these are more like a pea under the skin. They seem to be less sore today and I've put it down to getting very hot over the last few weeks which may have blocked pores or using too much deoderant but if they don't go soon I will be asking my doctor. I had wondered if it was medication but I've been using a different body spray and my chest seems a bit spotty which is unusual. Again could just be a heat rash but have stopped using body spray incase it's causing a reaction, so just thought of share my thoughts have you changed any bath stuff, deoderant or washing powder ? Hope it settles down soon x
I also have been getting these for just over a year now they seem to appear a wk before my period. One was so bad I had to have it cut out as they were worried about blood poisoning. I have asked mr Dr and my nurse and neither think it is related. My idea is the fluid (blood) that is released may be trying to get out somehow?
I've been getting boil type spots on my chest. Not many but an odd one here and there. Most strange. I've wondered if it could be related.
