I am so fed up now. I had a lap in March to get rid of endo tissue, had a month pain free and now I’ve been in a lot of pain the last few weeks. Daggers in my abdomen and pelvis, shooting pains down my legs, cramp in my knees and my shoulders, nausea, acid reflux, pain when I got to the toilet. I had to basically crawl back from the toilet the other day because I couldn’t stand up straight. I’m constantly exhausted, I work 14 hour shifts and spend my days off trying to rest.
I called the GP when it first started and she prescribed me tramadol which does nothing. I’m so fed up of just having pain killers that don’t work thrown at me and being told to just put up with it. I’ve got an implant in my arm as well which is doing nothing and I want it out.
Can anyone suggest anything else to help manage pain that I can speak to my GP about? Any other ways of helping to manage the pain or would you suggest getting a referral to the endo nurse or pain clinic? I don’t even know if it’s worth calling at the moment because they can’t do much but I’m reaching the end of my patience with this.

If you are having to crawl back from the toilet then I would strongly suggest going to your a and e department. This isn’t something you should be having to put up with x
Hi, I am currently going to get a scan done to see if my endo has returned. This was all arranged by my male gp. I have noticed female dont take it seriously. He liased with my specialist via email and told me to take a new set of pills for the meantime whilst a private clinic calls me with a date that was yesterday and today they gave me a date.
I have been using cocodamol combined with ibuprofen the highest dose 30mg/500mg it has worked with me but I am trying to not take too much as I don't want my body to be immune to it.
Hi, I have had a similar situation, had a laparoscopy in march and pain returned a month later. I am getting referred back to gyaencologist but in the mean time, the only pain relief i have found that works is naproxen! I also use heat patches, hope this helps x
If your surgery was this March it's very possible that you're still healing internally and unfortunately the healing pain and endo pain can feel very similar. Healing internally usually takes a couple of months which is why post ops are usually 6months after. As by this point you should have recovered and have a good idea on how much the surgery has helped with the symptoms.
Thanks ladies...! I’m just really struggling with it all at the moment both mentally and physically. I’ll have a look at all of the options suggested 💛💜🖤
