Hi,

I'm post menopause and on HRT. But not through natural menopause in my case it was surgical menopause as I had a hysterectomy and both ovaries removed.

Happy to answer any questions if I can?

Hi livvi livvi, I had an ovary and fallopian tube removed at 42, put into surgical menopause. Had hrt for a few years then started getting pain, came off it for 9 months, flushes and night sweats were terrible. Tried patches but same again so just can't take it. Was just wondering if anyone was in the same boat. I'm now 49 . Thanks so much for getting back to me xx

Ahhh. I have pain but after my hysterectomy the drs believe I have developed fibromyalgia so im in constant pain.

Did you try any different HRT or I know some use alternative therapies that help with the symptoms. Also, maybe it was the dose thats too high for you if you still have an ovary left???
