Hormone injection

Hi all.. I’m 7 weeks in from having hormone injection & also on HRT to help with side affects.

I’ve been suffering with the usual pain but also sciatic pain from left low back to foot.

My pain has increased since injection & having terrible groin pain like I’ve pulled the muscle but also like a bad period pain in pelvic area & hip. Has anyone experienced this?? Is this right?? Painkillers are not helping 😭

What do you mean with hormone injection, Zoladex or similar?

If it is, after just over five weeks, hadn’t done anything for pain as yet.

Triptorelin hormone injection.. Fingers crossed we get some relief soon.

Had looked into paying for a private MRI, so email her back and then tells me they can’t take bookings because of the NHS taking over private. They are only doing urgent NHS scans, but haven’t actually been sent anyone!

The system is getting absurd over this virus.

I was on prostap and I didn’t really notice much change until after my third injection. After my 2nd my pain increased and I was unsure for a while if to have the 3rd one

I have been on Zoladex for a while and notice that just after each injection, I have a few days of horrible sciatic pain. I also have stomach pain and generally feel a bit rubbish! However, I’ve felt a LOT better than I did without it, so I’m taking it as a fair trade off! Maybe you could ask about whether different HRT tablets would help with the unwanted side effects? Wishing you well lovely! Xx

What injection are you using? If its Porstap so having horrible side effects
