Need a wee bit help here, feeling at a very loose end with all this.
I’ve had really bad bloating for 5 weeks. Went up to A&E on the 17th April and had a scan which showed collapsed cyst and free fluid in my abdomen. I was told to phone the gynae ward if any problems so then today I phoned them and was told that the bloating isn’t related to gynae?!
I feel so lost and let down and have no idea what to do next, please help! X

In feb this year I went to a&e with excruciating pain in lower right abdo I was certain in was my appendix. I was sent over to gynae a&e not where they sent me on my way I went back 3 times over weekend and same thing happened. My partner came and picked me up and took me to a different hospital although no a&e department just urgent care where they insisted I was to go back as she queries appendix too although she rang the surgical wars directly to alert them I was coming. This was a Tuesday the day before I had a scan that showed a 4 cm cyst however they said it wouldn’t cause me that much pain. Anyway the surgeons could see the pain I was in vomiting passing out etc. Decided I needed a lap but as it wasn’t appendix they needed gynae to do it. Gynae refused and the surgeon was so annoyed and actually said to the gynae dr infront of me if anything sinister is under and they need to close me for gynae to be present he will hold it against them. Anyway thankfully it was just my cyst has leaked into pelvis. The point is I found the gynae department by me was full of early pregnant women some who experienced sad news and don’t get me wrong OBVIOUSLY they are a priority not debating that but I just think they don’t see other basics as urgent? I don’t know if your adamant keep going try another hospital but if you know something is up don’t give up x
