Copper coil

Good morning everyone, has anyone ever had the copper coil after having there endo removed? I've read in a few places it's not recommended to have the coil if you've had or have endo. I'm unsure what to do as don't want any more children and can't risk getting pregnant again. Hormonal contraception sends me crazy. So I can't have that either

I have inserted the Myrena coil. It's hormonal but with a very low dose.

The first two weeks were very painful but since I have it my endo symptoms have improved and my iron levels are much better.

I was very reluctant to take any hormonal stuff because of bad experiences in the past, but this one has helped me.

Of course, I can't confirm that this one will help you, but what I can say is that copper coil is NOT recommended in any book or article I have read for people with endo, as periods are more painful and you bleed more.

Also, the Doctors in the Sexual and Health Clinic did not recommend the copper coil for people with endo. Have you tried booking an appointment with them? They will give you all the options available.
