Hi ladies

I’m 12 weeks recovering from a total abdominal hysterectomy but I’m having pressure when weeing I’ve had antibiotics for a bladder infection but it’s not done anything, I’m also having pain in my right side wheee my ovary had fused to my bladder and it was removed my op went really well and I didn’t need a check up with my consultant but not sure what to do with what’s going on at the moment it’s like the pain I had before I had my op. Any info would be great thanks

Hi KayST79,

Sorry to hear about your pain. 12 weeks is not that long ago so you are still in recovery from your very invasive surgery. I have included below a link to some pain relief options listed on our website:

endometriosis-uk.org/pain-r...

However, if the pain is unbearable of if you feel something is not right, I would advise calling your GP, or the ward where the surgey was performed. If you're unable to contact either of them I would suggest calling 111 to speak to a professional.

Wish you a speedy recovery.
